This morning I found it very hard to wake up. Actually, getting out of bed is the hardest thing I do every weekday. Once I complete this fairly easy task for a normal person, I begin to function pretty normal. However, doing it seems almost impossible at certain times. I imagine the horrors of the day (which are just in my imagination, as you may have guessed) and all my will power decides to desert me. This happens every weekday morning.
On weekend mornings, I do not have this problem. I wake up by myself (not a lot later than in the normal weekdays, but without the terrible alarm sound) and start by checking FaceBook, Instagram and Pinterest for some updates. Then I leave the bed, make breakfast and continue with rummaging the Internet while eating.
I started thinking that maybe my weekend mornings are better also because of the beautiful things I am exposed to before getting out of bed. So I decided to make an experiment: once a week I will post the most beautiful pics I find online during the past days and check to see whether looking at them will improve my day. Or your day.
Now, after a very long and potentially boring introduction, here are my “day improvement proposals”.
