Lush Garden Wedding in Sydney

I fell in love with the wedding dress on Pinterest, shared it on Fairytale Dress on Tuesday but all the details from this wedding are too gorgeous not to want to see more of it. The bride is model and photographer Candice Lake who married conceptual architect Didier Ryan in Sydney. Alberta Ferretti designed her wedding dress and the post-ceremony one she changed into.
Designing her dress was Ferretti’s way of being part of the day, “a special day for a woman I consider special.”

For the wedding dress, the bride met with Ferretti and her team in New York, with her homework made. “I had pictures of bohemian brides, New York society women from the thirties, and then I also loved Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, so it was merging all of those.” The location of the ceremony dictated which way the dress would go — a lush garden overlooking the ocean that called for something rather bohemian and relaxed. She requested two things: lace and a low back. And I think the result was a real dream.
