Interiors: Not Your Average Beach Shack

Project Fairytale: Not your average beach shack

I am mesmerized with this beautiful home, an Orange County beach house actually, designed to resemble and old mansion with luxury accents and muted colors. An 18th-century Italian painted ceiling infuses the dining room with subtle color and patina. In the dining room, an 18th-century bookcase, used as a cabinet, comes from a Sicilian nunnery. Airy chandeliers are composites of old Italian altar sticks and antique parts put together by a husband-and-wife team whom the designer encountered in the south of France. I really like it’s “old soul” and modern touches, I can imagine myself living there.

So classy! Beach homes I think have a tendency to embrace the sea shells and drift wood look too often. This is just gorgeous!

We absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your
post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for. Does one offer guest writers to write content for yourself?
I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating
on a number of the subjects you write in relation to here.
    Again, awesome weblog!
