We are continuing the series of posts related to the Couture shows that took place this week in Paris with another one of my faves, the Giambattista Valli collection. This beautifully assembled collection seems to make for the perfect wardrobe of an incognito princess spending her summer on the Mediterranean coast, moving from resort to resort and from one yacht to the other, stealing the hearts of every man she meets and then leaving without looking back. It’s the emblem of summer with the omnipresent headscarf and the retro sunglasses, stripes, crop, tops, fluid lines and calf length pencil skirts. Retro and glam in all their glory.
