Interiors: Another Converted Schoolhouse, In Canada This Time

I must be the worlds biggest geek (which I am not, because I actually happen to know the world’s biggest geek and, trust me, I ain’t got nothing on her) and that is why I fall for all the converted schoolhouses in the world of interior design. After featuring last week a beautiful one from Copenhagen, it is time to cross the Atlantic to Canada, Ontario, to visit this wonderful (and very Christmasy, I might add) home of Janet Appleton, owner of The Dog Tack Shop. An added bonus, besides the iron staircase salvaged from Toronto’s first telegram building leading to the loft, the former Old Deacon Schoolhouse it’s nestled away into eight acres of land, which means you get a lot of privacy 😉
