When I think about couture, I invariably link the term with my French knowledge and consider the craftsmanship behind. And for me a couture gown does not need any auxiliary details, just the shapes and the fabrics being able to give the gowns that needed fluidity and movement that ensures the “couture” adjective. And this is what this Stephane Rolland collection is all about: no unnecessary details, no flashy ornaments, just precious fabrics and perfect craftsmanship. <3
