During summer months my hair is hurting: the salt, the pool water and sea water, the sun, the heat, all these factors plus my already very thick and very dry hair make a killer combination. The frizziness is out of control, the shape goes crazy (somewhere between very wavy and Pippi Longstocking’s braids), everything is a mess. And I still have to get out of the house and even attend nice events like parties and weddings and all of that. For official occasions I turn to my hairstylist but for casual parties, a scarf a simple way add some glam to my hairstyle.
Here are some ideas I found on The Shine Project (the instructions are her’s too):
1. Put bun on top of head and tie a bow around it with a medium size scarf. Put the bow on the side of the bun.
2. With a shorter scarf, tie it with a knot around your head. Tuck the extra material into the sides of your scarf.
3. Wrap a bun or any type of up-do with a short scarf, and tie a bow underneath the hair.
4. Do a low bun and wrap a short scarf on top of the hair to create a bow.
5. With a long scarf, wrap your head and tie a knot where the two ends meet by your ear. Let the scarf hang down for a perfect summer look!
Have fun!
