Interiors: Masculine Air

I dream of girly interiors with vintage accents, powdered colours and fluffy rugs but I am aware that a shared space, needs a more balanced decor. So, in the last period I have been looking for masculine interiors to serve as an inspiration for accents, colors and decorative objects. And I came across the work of architect and designer Guilherme Torres, who was invited to participate in Black Mostra, one of the most important interior design competitions in Brazil, with a room designed to be the ideal living space for a fictional young professional and art collector named Mister Black. It was love at first sight. I forgot all about pink pillows, white rugs, chevron curtains and high gloss decorations. I want to live in this cement-walled room, cuddle in that green chair.

And wouldn’t a cocktail from that wonderful bar-car (seriously, I need one for myself ASAP) sound even more delicious?
