So, we started the series of interiors this week with a spectacular and really expensive home (yes, I am fully aware that I should not start a post with “So”, but bear with me). I say we continue. This is the home of London based designer Rose Uniacke and her husband David Heyman (film producer of the Harry Potter series). It is a 14,000-square-foot (!!!) Victorian manse built in 1861, in the Georgian Revival style by society portraitist James Rannie Swinton. Ok, enough with the history lesson. The couple bought the house, which was in a pretty bad shape, in 2007 and began the work of making it even more splendid than it was before.
What is your favourite corner? I, myself, would totally spend the rest of my days in the gorgeous bathroom pictured above.
