When I was a little girl I did not like cakes and pies very much but I did have an affinity for meringues. And my mother, knowing this, made a fresh batch almost every week. I loved them small and well-defined, perfect shapes and crystal white. Now, I love them larger, looking more “shabby” and in different colors. And in pink they are obviously my favourite.
Really like this idea from Sam of Drizzle and Dip, to counterbalance the sweetness of the meringues with the delicious pomegranate syrup.
