Except some Transylvanian villages, where the schoolhouse was set in a former count’s castle by the communist regime, the vast majority of schools in Romania are set in ugly 2-3 stories buildings that have the appearance of having been designed by the same blind architect (I know there are some gorgeous old buildings even in Bucharest and other cities, I have exaggerated a little for the sole purpose of illustrating my idea). Which means I never dreamt of living in one or converting it in my beautiful home. But this Danish beauty is a different story, a former conservative school for boys that was transformed into this a cozy and artistic home.
