This a 1700s chateau, built in the town of Pau, in south of France, by an abbot who was knighted by Louis XIV, was restored by a couple of architecture lovers, Aurélien Deleuze and his wife, Pascale. It was not an easy task, a lot of work was needed, but the results are truly stunning. And the gardens, that offer magnificent views over the Pyrenees, are an attraction by themselves.
