When selecting the bridal collections to share on this blog I always look for the special ones. Those that do not look like what is usually found in a bridal atelier at the mall or on a small town street, but something amazing, out of the ordinary, but still elegant and perfectly suited for a bride who knows exactly what she needs for her wedding day: be it romantic, flowy dresses or deconstructed, avant-garde outfits. And I did exactly the same when I saw the Houghton Bride Fall 2016 collection. I knew it had a place in the Fairytale Dress array of out of the ordinary gorgeous dresses. The shapes, the transparencies, the styling and not least the informal way they were showcased just won me over. I love the ingenuity of the dresses, the muted colors, the classical shapes made bolder by their excessive size, the hippy air and the happiness they suggest.
