Before I learnt how to ski (technically to snowboard) I hated winter. The only positive thing about it was Christmas, but the rest was almost three months of dreary weather, cold and grey skies. But now I even dream in the hot summer nights that I descend a perfect slope in the Alps, looking forward to a mulled wine at the base. And an added benefit of this activity is the fact that it usually comes along with traveling as the conditions in Romania are not always ideal. So, it is normal to look for a nice place to stay and enjoy the hours you are not on the slopes, and a chalet could be the perfect answer for you.
And “Le Chalet Zannier” in France, near the stylish retreat of Megève (remember Charade?) offers you all you need after a full day on the slopes. Bonus: it has a restaurant, bar, pool, wellness centre, what else could you dream of?
