I never heard of Johanna Ortiz before last week but I irremediably fell in love with her designs. They might not be the finest sample of couture but they are perfectly relatable and most of them are wearable in daily life (if you live on the more glam side of it) or on a beautiful summer evening.
These are part of her Fall 2017 collection which marked a transition from her signature ruffles to a predominance of bows (although ruffles are still quite present) and a lot of Old Hollywood glamorous shapes and off the shoulder eveningwear. The best part: the whole collection is made in the designer’s native Colombia by local craftswomen <3.
