Luisa Beccaria Resort 2018

I was looking for the perfect summer dress to survive the heat in the city and this collection kept pooping on my screen. I decided to stop fighting the destiny and leave my other article for the next days and share with you this wonderful collection. The only problem: I could not limit myself to just a few photos, selection was almost impossible and trust me I had to give up on may others I liked… I wrote about Luisa Beccaria‘s feminine styles before and I am glad to rediscover her designs in this more informal and relaxed resort collection.

When a designer manages to make everything look so feminine, ethereal and fresh in the same time by just using shapes and textures and fabrics, it is really magical. The use of color and prints that look like they descended from an Impressionist painting, the broderie anglaise in pastel colors, the pleats and the full sleeves, all are an attempt to remind the princess inside each woman to shine. Even in the more practical dresses, have this touch of delicacy and come in the most classical shapes to compliment the figure of the wearer…
