Fall is my favourite season, but not the rainy, murky kind of fall that starts from the middle of October. I love the beautiful days of early September with its magic amber light, the chilliness of its mornings and the moment when trees begin to change their colors. And these shades are those I would like to wear over and over again. I wasn’t a fan of yellow until recently when I bought a yellow dress from COS and my universe shifted: I discovered that yellow is a perfect color as long as you manage to discover the perfect tone for your skin as well as the right fabric and cut.

I never associated yellow clothes with fall, maybe a mustardy cardigan or sweater but that’s it, for me yellow was the queen color of summer. But this year my summer was all about white, blue and navy and yellow was left for other days: the beautiful days of September. Here are some suggestions about wearing yellow pieces these days, dresses, pants, jackets or even whole ensembles. And I tried to cover as many shades, textures and even prints… Yellow is really a happy color!
