If you haven’t treated yourself in a while, one of the best activities you can do is a pamper day. Not only will it allow time for yourself, but you will also come out of it feeling beautiful, refreshed, and relaxed. Before you jump into a bath full of essential oils, however, you need to prepare.

Buy All the Pampering Essentials

While you might already have a facemask or two in the house, the best pamper days include products that are new and exciting – the kind of stuff you only use on the most special days. Some pampering must-haves include:

  • A Cleanser: To get all the dirt and oil off your skin
  • Hair Rollers: For those luxurious, bouncy curls
  • A Face Mask: To give your skin the ultimate moisturizing drink
  • A Robe: To feel like you’re at the spa!
  • Oils: Essential oils are perfect for aromatherapy, rubbing on your skin, and pouring in the bath
  • Candles: To create the perfect atmosphere

Shop around for some high-quality pampering essentials to feel extra fancy on the day.

Get in a Relaxed State

Forcing yourself to relax doesn’t always work, so give yourself time before the pamper to get in the zone. There are plenty of ways to do this, including meditation, listening to music, and light exercise. If you enjoy vaping, then you could go to a CBD online store for some CBD vapes, which will certainly provide you with a relaxed state of mind.

Ask for an Empty House (or Room)

One thing that will spoil a relaxing pampering session is getting interrupted, so ask the people you live with to give you the space for a couple of hours. If you can’t manage to free the house completely, then at least tell them your bedroom is a no-go zone while you’re in pamper mode. Just make sure to return the favor and make yourself sparse when they need some alone time!

Create a Music Playlist

One of the most important parts of a home spa day is the music, so choose wisely. After all, you don’t want to relax in the bath with heavy metal on (unless that’s your thing, of course). Use Apple Music or Spotify to create a peaceful playlist full of songs that make you feel at one with the world.

Create a Schedule

Creating a schedule isn’t necessary, but for those who enjoy planning, it’s a fun idea. Make yourself a little plan by listing everything you want to do at certain times. For example, you could write wash hair at 7 pm, blow-dry at 7.30 pm, and then do a facemask at 8 pm.

Switch off Your Phone

During your pamper session, your phone should be out of sight and out of mind. After all, this is a time for you, not your followers and Facebook friends! Switch notifications off and leave your phone in another room while you work on beauty treatments and tranquility. It will make all the difference.
