You might have noticed that I have a passion for interior design and décor, and I have also a problem of getting bored rather quickly of my interiors and feel a constant need to update and improved the spaces.
I have moved to a new home this spring and it feels like a constant work in progress, I still have not had the courage of sharing my complete home transformation online as I feel that it is still not ready.
But soon it will be, and for now I will share with you a sneak peek of the living room with a DIY project I have worked on during the weekend.
The lovely people from PhotoWall have contacted me to ask if I would be interested in choosing one of their products for my new home, as I have worked with them in the past for a mountain apartment, I have decorated last year. I am still in love with the wallpaper mural I have installed there, although I don’t get there as often as I wish.
Now I wanted to do something with one of my walls in the living room, the one with the TV. As I could not bring myself to splurge on an art-like TV set, I felt that that wall cannot accommodate any art pieces (like I have on almost all of the walls of my home) and I felt it looks a little bare but I did not have a relevant idea for it.
That until a few weeks ago, when Photowall reached out, and I went on their website and found some amazing ideas. Now the issue was making a choice. I had made a few selections in different categories, like Plants, Colors, Birds and Abstract and had a tough decision to make.
In the end, I chose something light, that would give a feeling of texture but would not overcrowd the wall and not make the room feel crowded. I had to decide between two marble like patterns, Marble Breeze and Unearth, but the decision was made once I entered the dimensions and could see how the pattern would be cut.
I ordered the premium quality option and included in the order the assembly kit. The wallpaper comes together with the powder glue, which needs to be mixed with water and all the other products in the kit helped us assemble the whole thing in a few hours. We have uneven walls, no 90 degree angles and the wall starts at a dimension and ends with an extra 5 cm, all the perks of living in a building built in the 1930s. However, the result was astonishing and now I cannot take my eyes of this wall. It looks so good in the morning light, gives me such a sensation of peace.
And the lovely people from PhotoWall offered me a 25% off code to share with my readers / followers. The code is projectfairytale25, code valid for 2 months, until November 19, 2021. Now is the time to look for your new wallpaper ❤
