Fashion with a Twist of Bingo Fun

Playing wardrobe bingo to come up with some crazy clothing combos

Once February rolls around, fashion aficionados will be beside themselves with glee once again as clothing design maestros Michael Cinco, Ralph Lauren, Donatella Versace, Betsey Johnson, and many other artistic geniuses unleash their creations for fashion’s spring season. Some of these will be just about what you would expect for 2014’s start; some will look strange but nevertheless still feel right; and some will just seem like they came out of left field.

The point is, there can never be any sort of assurance about what becomes a hit and what doesn’t when it comes to fashion; and it’s this spirit of experimentation that lends itself well to wardrobe bingo, a rather interesting variant on the basic game.

Introduced by online clothing retailer BooHoo.com early last year, the game entails players to gather five items each of the four basic clothing groups: tops, bottoms, footwear, and accessories. These items will then be labeled from 1 to 5, after which players utilize bingo’s random draw system to put together some very unexpected mix-and-match ensembles.
Because bingo is all about customization, you can further make modifications to wardrobe bingo to suit your own particular taste, as well as to take on more fun challenges. You could go with using pieces that recall fashion-forward movies like The Matrix trilogy. You could also add a certain variety to the game by limiting yourself to items that fit the theme of games featured on Bubble Bonus Bingo – for example, Egyptian chic, as exemplified by Cleopatra, Boho and rustic items, as exemplified by Shaman’s Dream, or even Asian tunics and accessories, as exemplified by the Bruce Lee-themed game. You could even go all out and make fashion sense out of the Derelicte line from the film Zoolander.

The possibilities are endless, and it all boils down to your imagination and creativity. Who knows? After a few rounds of wardrobe bingo, you might just come up with the next great fashion trend.
