The Perfect Home of the Chic Bachelor

@projectfairytale: A Masculine Loft

I have a problem with those homes that are called “man caves” or “bachelor pads”. They usually are dark, have cement beams, metallic accessories and exude an extreme sense of masculinity and force. Why would having light colored furniture be a sign of weakness or less masculinity? Why the presence of flowers and carefully selected art would make the home more feminine? This is a perfect example of home that for me is very masculine without being violently masculine. I love the mix of colors, the sharp tones of darker wood and leather against the soft beige of the floors and walls, the subtle industrial accents and the stunning art pieces.
